Envisioning the Future of Seoul
A Vision for Seoul's New Landmark
In 2024, Chairman Hwang Man-seok proposed a new landmark for Seoul against the backdrop of the Han River.
We designed a new urban symbol that harmonizes with the landscape of the Han River by combining the beauty of Korean curves with a futuristic architectural language.
In the space extending from the landmark, an opera house that offers a modern reinterpretation of the beauty of Hanok has been placed, connecting future architecture with Korea's traditional culture into a single flow.
During the day, it is a massive structure that becomes one with the Han River, and at night, it embraces the city lights to create a new skyline for Seoul.
A building that has not yet become a reality.
However, all landmarks begin with a single imagination.
